Helping parents understand dorm options, safety, accessibility, and what to expect at Bard College.
Bard College requires all first-year students to live on campus. Upperclass students have the option to live on campus or off campus in the local Annandale area.
First-Year Housing: First-year and sophomore students are assigned to corridor-style residence halls. Assignments are made by the Office of Residential Life based on housing preferences submitted during the enrollment process.
Upperclass Housing: Juniors and seniors may apply for suite-style, apartment, or house-style residences. Upperclass housing selection is conducted via a lottery process.
Gender-Neutral Housing: Stone Row offers gender-neutral housing for students of all gender identities. Students may request this option during the housing application process.
Meal Plans: All residential students are required to participate in a meal plan. Kline Dining is Bard's main dining facility.
