The Shoeboxes.Cluster of nine 1960s-era first-year halls (Barnett, Benet, Bradley, Cope, Geer, Lever, Manning, Sanders, Wannamaker, Young). Traditional corridor-style with shared bathrooms.

Core Campus.Newer first-year suite-style halls (Sims, Wakefield, Stewart) — opened 2014.

Greek life.Clemson has a large Greek system with chapter houses mostly off-campus, owned by the chapters themselves. The university does not maintain houses on campus.
