Helping parents understand dorm options, safety, accessibility, and what to expect at Florida Polytechnic University.

💡 Tips for parents reviewing dorm options:

🏠 How housing selection works at Florida Polytechnic University

Florida Polytechnic University offers three modern on-campus residence halls. All students are encouraged to live on campus; first-year students who live within 50 miles of the university are exempt from residency requirements, but living on campus is strongly recommended for the first year.

Application Process: Students apply for housing through the Florida Poly Housing Portal after receiving admission. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis following the payment of deposits.

Meal Plans: Residential students have access to The Perch dining facility, which includes all-you-can-eat dining (The Fuse), Einstein Bros. Bagels, Fire+Ash, and grab-and-go options. Meal plans are required for students in RH I and RH II.
