Note: Hampshire College is permanently closing after the Fall 2026 semester. The Board of Trustees voted to cease operations following the conclusion of Fall 2026, allowing remaining students — primarily Division III seniors completing their final projects — to finish their degrees on campus. Housing in on-campus mods (apartment-style residences) will be available to continuing students through the end of Fall 2026.
Division I and II students (first through third year) are being assisted with transfer pathways to partner institutions including Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, UMass Amherst, and others. No new housing applications are being accepted for academic year 2027 or beyond.
