🏠 How housing selection works at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University

North Carolina A&T State University offers on-campus housing for all enrolled students. First-year students are strongly encouraged to live on campus to take full advantage of the Aggie residential experience. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis after students complete the housing application and pay the required deposit.

Freshman Housing: Incoming freshmen are typically assigned to Barbee Hall, Holland Hall, Cooper Hall, or Pride Hall, which are designated primarily for first-year students. These halls are designed to foster community and ease the transition to college life.

Upperclass Housing: Returning students may apply for Aggie Village North, Aggie Village South, Aggie Suites, Scott Hall, Morris Hall, Morrow Hall, Alumni-Foundation Hall, or University Courtyard. Upperclass students often have more flexibility in room selection and can opt for suite- or apartment-style living.

Meal Plans: All residential students are required to purchase a meal plan. The primary dining facility is Aggie Dining Hall, which accepts meal plan swipes. The Alumni Foundation Cafe provides additional dining options on campus.
