🏠 How housing selection works at Queens College, CUNY

The Summit.operates one residence community — The Summit, on the southwest corner of the campus. The Summit is apartment-style with full kitchens and private bathrooms, configured as 1, 2, and 4-person units.

Apartment-style living.Each Summit apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, and bedrooms with private bathrooms. Air-conditioned, elevator-served, with on-site laundry, fitness center, and study lounges.

Application.Housing is open to undergraduate students from any class year, plus some CUNY graduate students. Applications open each spring; QC students from outside Queens get priority for limited beds.

Off-campus housing.students still commute. Common off-campus neighborhoods for QC students include Flushing, Bayside, Forest Hills, Jackson Heights, and Astoria.
