Helping parents understand dorm options, safety, accessibility, and what to expect at University of Colorado Denver.
University of Colorado Denver offers on-campus housing at the Auraria Campus in the heart of downtown Denver, as well as an affiliated off-campus apartment community. Priority is given to incoming freshmen, with upperclass and graduate housing also available.
Application Process: Students apply for housing through the UC Denver Housing portal. A housing deposit is required to secure a placement. Assignments are made on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
Meal Plans: Residential students have access to the Tivoli Dining Hall and other campus dining options located on the shared Auraria Campus. Meal plans are available for all residential students.
Urban Campus Advantage: Living on or near the Auraria Campus puts students steps from downtown Denver, the 16th Street Mall, light rail lines, and professional opportunities throughout the metro area.
