New students who complete their application by May 7 receive a room-selection timeslot to pick their own room; returning students have an earlier priority deadline of February 12 and select rooms February 17–20. Students who miss their priority deadline can still apply on a rolling basis but will have fewer room choices. Applications are submitted through the myUT portal.
