🏠 How housing selection works at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee offers on-campus and off-campus university housing options across several residence halls on the east side of Milwaukee. Housing is available to all enrolled students, with priority given to first-year students and those who apply early.

Application Process: Students apply for housing through the UWM housing portal. A housing deposit is required to secure a placement. Assignments are made on a rolling basis and communicated via email.

Class-Level Options: Sandburg Hall's North and South Towers primarily house first-year and sophomore students. Cambridge Commons and Purin Hall are available to upperclassmen. Kenilworth Square and RiverView Hall offer apartment-style living for upperclassmen and graduate students.

Meal Plans: Residential students have access to Sandburg Dining and The Panther Dining Hall, with a variety of meal plan options. Meal plans are required for students living in Sandburg Hall towers.
