About Newport House

[West Campus] Built in 1913 and renovated in 1998, Newport House on West Campus is home to the Spanish Language House — one of Amherst's most active language immersion communities. Residents participate in Tertulia, a weekly Thursday Spanish conversation gathering open to the whole campus. Excellent for Spanish language development and Latin American cultural connection. Pod housing.
