Bennington College Senior Dorms — Senior Housing Guide

🎉 Bennington College Senior Housing Guide

Senior year at Bennington College — which dorms are open, what to look for, and how to pick well.

Senior year housing is the last call — picking where you spend the final stretch before graduation. This guide covers Bennington College dorms open to seniors, leaning toward apartment-style, singles, and quieter halls. If you've been off-campus for a year, it covers when it's worth moving back too.

💡 Senior-year dorm tips:

Senior year favors privacy: singles, suites, and apartment-style win over freshman-style corridors.
Quiet hours matter more your senior year than they did freshman year — if you're writing a thesis, prioritize halls with reputation for calm.
Off-campus seniors who move back on-campus do it for the social closure (last-year proximity to friends) or for the meal plan during thesis season.
On-campus apartments often have priority for seniors — check the lottery rules. Off-campus apartments need to be lined up by spring of junior year for the best stock.
