Christa McAuliffe Residential Community is an apartment-style complex at Bowie State University, named in honor of teacher and Space Shuttle Challenger astronaut Christa McAuliffe. The complex offers 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom furnished apartment units with full kitchens and private bathrooms. Designed for upperclassmen, freshmen are generally ineligible except for Honors program students. The community provides residents with a more independent living experience while remaining connected to the BSU campus. Amenities include laundry facilities, community spaces, and study areas.
