About Grad Center A
One of four residential towers in the Graduate Center complex built in 1968. Each suite contains four to six student rooms clustered around a shared common area, with one bathroom shared among suitemates — a semi-private configuration that provides more privacy than floor-level communal bathrooms. Elevator access throughout. Brown's standard furnishings are provided in each room: extra-long twin bed and mattress, bookcase, bureau, desk, chair, and closet or wardrobe. Tower C's bathrooms were recently renovated with new flooring, toilets, sinks, and lighting; Tower D renovations completed in Summer 2024.
