About Andrews Hall

A Pembroke campus first-year hall built in 1947, Andrews is notable for one unique amenity: every room has a private sink, making it the only Brown first-year dorm where students have their own sink without sharing bathroom facilities for basic hygiene. Corridor-style layout with communal floor bathrooms for showers and toilets. Elevator access. Standard Brown furnishings throughout — extra-long twin bed, mattress, bookcase, bureau, desk and chair, and closet or wardrobe. Andrews Commons, a grab-and-go dining spot, is located on the ground floor, making late-night snacks convenient.
