Suite-style first-year residence on Pembroke campus. Students live in multi-person suites that share a semi-private bathroom between suitemates rather than with the entire floor. Elevator access available. Rooms are furnished with the standard Brown set: extra-long twin bed and mattress, bookcase, bureau, desk, chair, and closet or wardrobe. Being suite-style, New Pembroke 1 offers a somewhat more private living arrangement than the corridor halls and is often preferred in the lottery.
