Muir Hall is a corridor-style residence hall at Cal Poly SLO named for conservationist John Muir, fitting for a polytechnic university with a strong environmental ethos. It offers traditional double rooms and communal bathrooms, and is part of the main first-year residential district. Muir is home to several themed communities including the Environmental Studies LLC, popular with students in Cal Poly's CAFES college.
