About Brooks Hall

Brooks Hall is the largest residence hall on campus, housing approximately 400 first-year students in standard doubles and occasional quads. Built in 1966 and named after Rev. John E. Brooks, S.J. — the college's 29th president — it notably housed the first women students when Holy Cross went coeducational in 1972. The basement features a study lounge, social room, kitchen, and laundry. (Formerly Mulledy Hall; renamed 2020.)
