About Balch Hall

Historic 6-floor corridor-style residence divided into North Balch and South Balch, each with four units of roughly 20-30 rooms. Open to all-female-identified students of any year. Each unit has communal gender-designated bathrooms, with at least one gender-neutral bathroom per unit decided at the community's first meeting. North Balch was fully renovated and reopened August 2024; South Balch reopened in 2025. No air conditioning.
