Cannon Hall is one of Davidson's classic upperclass corridor-style dormitories, housing 93 students in 46 double rooms across 5 floors. Built in 1923 as West Dormitory and renovated in 1957, it sits on Dorm Row — the spine of Davidson's residential campus. Each floor has a large TV lounge, and a community kitchen is in the basement. Laundry is on the first floor. Cannon is popular with rising sophomores and upperclass students who want a traditional Davidson dorm experience. Its location on Dorm Row puts it in the heart of campus social life, close to Patterson Court eating houses. The all-double configuration means no one gets stuck with a triple.
