About Claver Hall

Claver Hall is a residence at Fairfield University named after Saint Peter Claver, a Jesuit known for his ministry to enslaved Africans in 17th-century Cartagena. The corridor-style building houses upperclassmen and maintains the Jesuit tradition of naming buildings in honor of individuals who embodied the ideals of justice and service.
