About Jubilee Hall

Jubilee Hall is the most iconic building at Fisk University and one of the most historically significant structures in American higher education. Completed in 1876, the Victorian Gothic building was financed by the Fisk Jubilee Singers through their world tour and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Jubilee Hall serves as a women's residence and stands as a living monument to the determination and artistry of those who built Fisk. The building's red-brick exterior and ornate tower are immediately recognizable on the Nashville skyline.
