Wheatley Hall is named after Phillis Wheatley, the pioneering African American poet. This all-female upperclass residence hall at FAMU features air-conditioned corridor-style rooms with communal bathrooms, study spaces, and laundry facilities in a community honoring the legacy of Black women scholars.
