About Harbin Hall

Harbin Hall is Georgetown's largest and most iconic first-year residence hall, a nine-floor tower housing over 700 students in traditional corridor-style double rooms with communal bathrooms. Built in 1971, Harbin dominates the Georgetown hilltop skyline and is the center of first-year social life. Harbin's sheer size creates a lively, at times chaotic community that almost every Georgetown student passes through. No air conditioning — common to Georgetown's older buildings.
