Loose Hall is a traditional Grinnell College corridor dorm named after benefactor Jacob L. Loose, housing students in singles and doubles with communal bathrooms shared among floor residents. Grinnell's dorms are known for producing tight-knit floor communities despite — or because of — their utilitarian design, and Loose is no exception. The building sits within the central residential area of campus.
