Sontag Hall is one of Harvey Mudd's outer dorms, housing approximately 95–105 students in suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms. Central air conditioning and in-building laundry are standard. Sontag is popular in the room draw for its slightly larger rooms compared to some of the older HMC halls. The outer dorm location offers more quiet study time while remaining close to the heart of HMC's residential community. Sontag residents benefit from easy access to the 5C Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons.
