Named for James Logan, a prominent figure in Pennsylvania's colonial Quaker community and an early Haverford benefactor, the hall carries a sense of institutional history while functioning as a normal residential building today. No central AC — standard for Haverford's older buildings. Logan is a typical starting point for first-year students experiencing the Honor Code residential model for the first time: a community of peers without RAs, operating on mutual trust and the shared commitment to the Honor Code that students sign upon arrival.
