The Terraces is a community of 13 residential buildings (numbered Terrace 1–13) positioned on the hillside above the Hill Center and Center for Health Sciences on the south side of the Ithaca College campus. Together they house 355 single rooms and 297 double rooms across the complex — one of the largest residential areas on campus. Each building features single-gender communal bathrooms, a study lounge, TV lounge, kitchen or kitchenette, laundry facilities, and vending machines. A coed-by-door option is available in select buildings. The Terraces have no elevators. A designated Quiet Study residence option exists within the complex for students seeking a low-distraction living environment. The Terraces are home to several of IC's 11 theme-based Residential Learning Communities distributed across buildings for incoming first-year students. Parking is in Red Lots L and L Lot Extension.
