[Homewood — The Beach] AMR I (Alumni Memorial Residences I) is a first-year residence complex consisting of four connected halls: Royce, Vincent, Wilson, and Lazear. Corridor-style with doubles primarily and single-gender communal bathrooms by floor. Located at the southern edge of campus along "The Beach" — JHU's social grass quad. Renovated in the 2010s with central AC; the four halls share courtyards and lounges.
