Opened in Fall 2012 and named in honor of President Emeritus Jon Wefald — who led K-State from 1986 to 2009 and oversaw a transformative era of growth for the university — Wefald Hall is K-State's newest and most modern on-campus residence. Four-person suites pair two double-occupancy bedrooms sharing a single private bathroom, offering greater privacy than traditional corridor halls. The building features central air conditioning, contemporary furnishings, in-suite common areas, and up-to-date study and social facilities. Wefald is consistently one of the most requested halls on campus for both first-year and returning students.
