Leavey Hall is one of LMU's largest first-year residence halls, named after the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Foundation which has been a longtime benefactor of Jesuit education in California. The corridor-style building houses hundreds of incoming Lions and features floor communities, study rooms, communal bathrooms, laundry, and easy access to the main academic buildings at the top of the Bluff. Leavey's elevated campus position provides iconic views of the Los Angeles basin.
