About Next House

Next House is MIT's westernmost large residence hall, located near the athletic facilities and MIT's west campus area. Organized into self-governing entries with distinct cultures. Corridor-style rooms with communal bathrooms, no central air conditioning. Next House has a reputation for a friendly, somewhat quieter community compared to the more intense cultures of East Campus or Burton-Conner. Its dining hall is shared with the nearby Simmons and MacGregor buildings.
