About Burton House

Burton House is the larger of the two connected sides of MIT's Burton-Conner House, occupying 5 of the building's 9 floors. The building was constructed in 1927 as the Riverside Apartment building and has served as an MIT undergraduate residence since 1948. Suite-style rooms (singles, doubles, and triples) share full kitchens and multi-user bathrooms within each suite. A later accessibility renovation added new connecting corridors between the Burton and Conner sides on the upper floors.
