About New House

New House is a complex of four connected MIT residence halls (Bldgs 62, 63, 64, 65) organized into eight "corridors" or small communities, each with 10–20 students and strong self-governing cultures. Corridor-style rooms with communal bathrooms, no central air conditioning. New House is located on the west side of campus near the athletic facilities. Many of New House's corridors serve as home to MIT's language and cultural living groups.
