About Hebrew House

The Hebrew House, located at 131 Franklin Street, is Middlebury's Hebrew language academic interest house. Students with a commitment to Hebrew proficiency live with a native Hebrew-speaking resident and pledge to speak only Hebrew in the house — an academic-year extension of the discipline of Middlebury's summer Hebrew School. The house hosts cultural events and language programming for the broader Hebrew-language and Judaic studies community at Middlebury.
