About Coffrin Hall

Coffrin Hall (affectionately known as "The Barns" for its barn-like architecture) was built in 1986 as part of the Atwater residential commons. Named for trustee Albert W. Coffrin, it provides traditional corridor-style first-year housing within the Atwater community. The Atwater commons system connects Coffrin residents with students in adjacent buildings through shared programming, commons-affiliated faculty fellows, and common social spaces.
