Upper-level Russian students live with a native Russian-speaking resident and pledge to speak only Russian in the house — an academic-year extension of the rigorous immersion philosophy of Middlebury's renowned summer Russian School. The house serves as a hub for Russian cultural events and language practice throughout the academic year.
