About Basilone Hall

Basilone Hall is one of the residence halls that make up The Heights at Montclair State University, part of the Dinallo Heights grouping. It is named for John Basilone, a highly decorated U.S. Marine Corps sergeant and Medal of Honor recipient for his actions during the Battle of Guadalcanal in WWII.
