About Graves House

Graves House (1889) is the oldest residence hall at Morehouse College and one of the most iconic buildings on the Atlanta University Center campus. A National Historic Landmark, it is named after Dr. Samuel Graves, a founder of the college. Primarily a first-year hall, Graves House features corridor-style double rooms and serves as the historic heart of Morehouse residential life.
