Springer-Franklin College is one of Murray State's 11 residential colleges, combining the former Springer and Franklin halls into a single residential community. The building houses freshman students in traditional double-occupancy rooms and includes a head resident, faculty adviser, and its own crest and traditions as part of the residential college system. The college fosters a close community identity that many students maintain throughout their time at MSU.
