About Othmer Hall

Othmer Hall is NYU's second residential building in Brooklyn, also located in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. Named for Donald and Mildred Othmer (NYU alumni and noted philanthropists), Othmer offers corridor-style rooms with communal bathrooms and central air conditioning. The building provides a smaller, more intimate residential community than the large Manhattan dorms, with the benefit of Brooklyn Heights's beautiful brownstone-lined streets and its own close-knit dormitory culture.
