About Lipton Hall (Hayden Hall)

Lipton Hall (named Hayden Hall from 1957 until being renamed in June 2016 to honor NYU Law alumnus and Board of Trustees Chair Emeritus Martin Lipton) is a first-year dorm at 33 Washington Square West, one block from Washington Square Park. Suite-style accommodations with semi-private bathrooms. One of the most coveted first-year placements at NYU due to its proximity to the main academic buildings and Washington Square Park. Houses approximately 700 first-year students. The building has a rooftop terrace with Manhattan views.
