About Packer Hall

Packer Hall is one of Penn State's 16 East Halls first-year residence halls, named for William Fisher Packer, 14th Governor of Pennsylvania. Traditional corridor-style double rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Packer is part of the East Halls residential cluster on the eastern side of the University Park campus. All 16 East Halls buildings are named after Pennsylvania governors and connected by covered walkways.
