Dialynas Hall is Pomona's newest and most modern residence hall, opened in 2009 and named after Pomona trustee John Dialynas. It is one of only two Pomona halls with central air conditioning — a significant differentiator given Claremont's hot inland Southern California climate. The building offers suite-style living with semi-private bathrooms shared within suites, in-building laundry, and modern construction throughout. Dialynas consistently ranks as one of the most sought-after halls in the Pomona room draw, with its combination of AC, modern amenities, and suite privacy. As part of the 5 Claremont Colleges consortium, all Pomona students can access dining halls, courses, and social spaces at the adjacent CMC, Harvey Mudd, Scripps, and Pitzer campuses.
