About Clement Hall

Clement Hall is one of ten residential units built in 1932 at RPI and named for Rensselaer alumni who served as presidents of railroad companies, honoring graduates' contributions to the nation's rail industry. It is named for William H. Clement (Class of 1835), who was president of the Cincinnati Southern Railway. The building was closed in 2014 and renovated/reopened in 2016 as part of E-Complex to accommodate a growing incoming class.
