Roger Williams University is a private liberal arts university in Bristol, Rhode Island, situated on a scenic 140-acre waterfront campus along Mount Hope Bay. Founded in 1956, RWU is known for its distinctive School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation, as well as programs in marine biology, law, business, and engineering. The Hawks compete in Division III athletics in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
