Cuicacalli Suites (pronounced "kwee-kuh-KAL-ee," the Aztec word for "house of song") is one of San Diego State's primary suite-style residence halls, housing first-year and continuing students in suite configurations of two double-occupancy rooms sharing a semi-private bathroom between four residents. The building is centrally located on the main SDSU campus near major academic buildings and is one of the most popular choices among new students for its social atmosphere. Cuicacalli features study rooms, social lounges, game rooms, and laundry facilities, and it is adjacent to the main dining facilities on campus. The building reflects SDSU's Aztec cultural identity in its name and design elements.
