About Wiecking Hall

Opened in 1989 and rededicated in 2003 to honor Kathryn Wiecking '53, Wiecking Hall features a distinctive lightning bolt-shaped floor plan that floods hallways with natural light. The Sustainability Office is located on the first floor. The building houses the Prism LGBTQ+ Community on the third floor (in its alternate-year rotation with Jonsson Tower). The organic student garden adjacent to Wiecking is tended by residents. Suite-style bathrooms are shared by approximately 4 to 6 rooms.
