Pierson Hall is the largest residence hall at South Dakota State University, housing approximately 440 students following its 2022 renovation. The corridor-style building features modernized traditional double rooms with communal bathrooms on each floor. The 2022 renovation updated Pierson's common areas, bathrooms, and room finishes while preserving its position as the primary first-year residential community on campus.
