Baldwin Hall is one of ten three-story corridor-style residence halls at Thompson Point on the west side of SIU Carbondale's campus, set among Campus Lake and Thompson Woods. Built in the late 1950s to early 1960s, the hall features communal bathrooms, furnished single and double rooms, laundry facilities, and walkable access to the Lentz Hall dining facility. Thompson Point houses a large portion of SIU's undergraduate population in a classic mid-century residential setting.
