Gerhard Casper Quad is a modern Stanford upperclass residential complex named for Gerhard Casper, Stanford's president from 1992–2000 who championed the university's transformation into a global research powerhouse. Suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms and natural ventilation. GCQ is popular with upperclassmen and is located in a newer, more modern section of campus.
